miss out - even thought we have been ridiculously stung

There
has also been much panic and a real "sky-is-falling"
attitude about the new 2257 proposals and the way the
US Government seems fixated on trying to destroy the
adult online business- we at CuriousCash have NOT been
sitting on our hands on this one so, DO NOT panic and
read where CuriousCash are at and what we are doing
also down below in this update ! Obviously more
to come on this in future editions !!
Next
door you will see we have reproduced a summary of all the responses we
have received to the CuriousCash Webmasters Survey - and a big thanks to
all of you who took the time to respond to us ! Your time and effort
spent in helping us make the program better for all of you is MUCH
appreciated.
Over
the next couple of issues we will be addressing just HOW we intend
bringing much of your wish-list from the survey to fruition - our
evaluation of our new back end system is almost complete - and I know you
all agree that we must get this right first time !! Next week we
should have some big news to bring to you !!
Now it
seems crazy, but we are only nine (9) short weeks until Internext (http://www.internextconference.com)
in Hollywood Florida ! WOW ! Time just gets away from all of
us doesn't it ?
The

There
is also some MASSIVE news upcoming for CuriousCash - but it is ALL top
secret at the moment, but be sure that our affiliates will be the first to
know of the breaking news when the time is right for us to release the
exciting future directions that recent negotiations and agreements have
led to.

apart from getting all of our internal systems straightened out to be the
best they can be for you, our future expansion and direction is set to

Results Of The Curious Cash Webmaster Survey !
Well
here it is - a compendium of your replies to our webmaster
survey ! Next week, we shall tell you what actions
we are taking to pick all of his up in our revamp plans
!! Should
we continue to develop more and new sites?
The
consensus on this was yes, as long as it does not detract
from the sites that are currently on offer.
As stated by Ian "Too many sites can also be a
hazard, it may make them less full, less of a recurring
billing product and I think that too needs to be clearly
defined. Sites that sell good is fine but not if the
webmaster is signed up on a revshare versus simple one
time join payout. Too many sites might lead to less
rebills."
Should we continue to look at micro-niching our offerings
and how often would you like to see you new sites released?

A lot of requests came in for us to expand through Micro-
niching. Basically I think the webmasters have decided
they have seen enough sites of similar content from
us and would like something new. One suggestion was
a Shaving Website. "I search for a web site with
shaving action for boys and men, shaving their pubes,
dick , ass etc. If you can make that is a plus,
because I can't find a good web site with this fetish."
Should
we pursue looking at trials across our sites, or should
be retain our previous "no trial" strategy?
Generally
people liked the idea of us adding trials. However only
if the payout return was worth it. Majority would like
the choice to be made up by them to whether a trial
appears on a site or not.
Should we be dedicating more time to increasing this
diversification process? If so, what other areas should
we be looking at for you?
Majority of the Webmasters told us diversification is
good, just as long as we keep an eye on what we do well.
Do
you think the migration to NATS is a good idea? What,
if any, additional marketing tools would be of benefit
to you?
Alright, Alright we hear you load and clear. Our backend
needs to be completely revamped. Expect an announcement
soon on which direction we will take. Currently we are
down to 2 options one is MPA3 and the second is a program
called ZBan.
Do
we communicate well with you? Would you like to also
receive our general press releases we issue from time
to time? Are we easy contactable and do we respond quickly
enough when you do contact us?
Some think we are good here and some do not. I
would have thought with the endless hours and vast array
of contact methods we had as well as our weekly updates
we would have done alright here. Oh well, better go
back to the drawing board and see how we can improve.
ADDITIONAL
REQUESTS WHICH WE HAVE TAKEN ON BOARD FOR CONSIDERATION:
1. The webmaster area is way too slow loading for me.
Most other sites like even AEBN or Bel Ami load extremely
quickly. The stats at the beginning maybe should go
elsewhere and be more flexible.
2. Banners - IT IS hard to really download a whole whack
of them. perhaps a zip file option containing the complete
banner set for a site would be of help.
3. Banner Refreshing's - to be blunt, they need to be
updated. Not so much animated but showcase more of the
talent instead of the same model for all of the sites
or several sites.. Different sites should use different
models and I also think that you need more 'skyscraper'
banners.. 120x300 120x400 and even 120x600 plus perhaps
80x300, 80x400 etc.
4. Banner Names - I know this is small but if a webmaster
is promoting more than one site, it kind of helps if
you actually name your banners teen-boy-models or -cute-teen-boys
instead of just 468x80a It can be confusing to some
or add to their work load by either having to rename
the banners or in placing them in a different directory.
so site specific naming of banners would be a help.
(while some may use initials like say TBM for teen boy
models, I'd try to use three to two words that are also
keywords.. hey the SE's do pick on that. so while more
work, a good plus for a truly savvy webmaster and they
are the ones who will push the sites more than the casual
one.)
5. Better explanations within the webmaster section
of what everything is. I mean I see this emails collected
and it keeps changing each month, but what the heck
is it? Does it make me money? If so how much and when
does it get paid?
6. Text Copy - Not many offer this but for those that
do, it helps in the conversions. I mean a webmaster
rarely goes inside a members area of a site they are
promoting, so for them to come up with good sexy SE
ad copy is very very difficult. You guys know your sites,
so it would be a big big help for webmasters to have
text phrases available for use in promoting the various
sites.
7. Better linking options. By that I mean give us the
webmaster a choice of linking to the tour or to the
join page directly. Also insure NO POP UPS.. that to
me kills a lot of potential sales.
8. 30 second video clips for promotion
9. Independent site reviews
10. Cut n Paste Java Script with live Updated Content
11. Geo-Targeted Ads.
12. Hosted TGP sites
13. Surfer Focused Forum with link codes for the banners
within the forum
14. Hosted Free Sites
Now we already offer a few of these things and a few
are already on the drawing board at Curious Cash.
In
the next few days an announcement will be made of which
way we will be going for the backend of CuriousCash
and from there we will be able to tell you what will
be built in as part of the software and what we will
look towards including over time.

on "as-we-can" basis.

The bottom line of the problem ?

company has reported absolutely ridiculous bandwidth

They said it was the FHG's ONLY causing the problem
- a situation which we could not accept, but have had
to remedy to narrow down the problem once and for all.
We were
hoping that this issue would be resolved rather quickly however it has not
been. We are extremely disappointed that we have had to do this and we are
currently pursuing other avenues to be able to once again bring this
service back to our affiliates.
We have changed over ALL links so that any
traffic that goes to the existing spot of these galleries is diverted
direct to the front page of the sites so you can still gain credit for
your traffic. Also
anyone who would like a copy of the galleries to host themselves can
contact us directly at
webmaster@curiouscash.com who will organize an area for you to
download the ones you require.
We are extremely sorry that this course of
action had to be taken and we are trying to come to an arrangement which
will allow us to reinstate them which will hopefully happen sooner than
not later. |

Don't Panic About 2257..
Everyone is having panic
attacks about compliance with the impending 2257 regulations.
Right now, we are in the
process of talking to our lawyers to find out how we can best make
ourselves and our affiliates compliant with the new regulations.
Rest assured, as soon as we
know how to most effectively deal with these new regs our webmasters will
be the 2nd to know.
We will do whatever it takes
to make sure our affiliates can make their sites and galleries compliant
by the time the changes in the regs take effect.
The new regulations are set
to take effect on June 23, 2005.
However, The Free Speech
Coalition is seeking injunctions on both the East and West Coast. These
injunctions are very likely (though not guaranteed) to slow the passage of
these (or some components of) laws.
In a best case scenario, the
courts will uphold the Sundance vs. Reno decision regarding the
responsibilities of a secondary producer and there will be no need for
webmasters to keep redundant sets of model IDs.
If you are not a member of
The Free Speech Coalition (http://www.freespeechcoalition.com),
we highly recommend that you become one. They are our first line of
defense against an administration that is hell-bent on destroying the
adult online business.
Lastly, do not give into
fear mongers that are looking to make a buck from this debacle: there is
not an acceptable third party whom can keep your records for you (should
they become necessary) and the earliest there regulations could affect you
is June 23 - don’t fall victim to the profiteering that is already running
rampant on the boards.
Even if the injunctions
fail, the government still needs to set an agency to enforce these
regulations which will delay and inspections even further than June 23rd.
Now is a time for vigilance
and not panic. CuriousCash will do whatever it takes to make sure our
webmasters are covered just as soon as we have been given proper legal
advice by our attorneys. It is still very early in this game to predict
exactly what the future will hold.

Insurance Claims
The following are actual statements found in insurance forms where
drivers attempted to summarize the details of an accident in the fewest
words possible ...
Coming home, I drove into the wrong house and collided with a tree I don't
have.
I thought my window was down, but I found out it was up when I put my head
through it.
A truck backed through my windshield into my wife's face.
A pedestrian hit me and went under my car.
The guy was all over the road, I had to swerve a number of times before I
hit him.
I pulled away from the side of the road, glanced at my mother- in-law, and
headed over the embankment.

I had been driving for forty years, when I fell asleep at the wheel and
had an accident.
I was on my way to the doctor with rear end trouble and my universal joint
gave way, causing me to have an accident.
To avoid hitting the bumper of the car in front, I struck the pedestrian.
An invisible car come out of nowhere, struck my car and vanished.
I told the police that I was not injured, but on removing my hat, found
that I had a fractured skull.
The pedestrian had no idea which direction to run, so I ran over him.
I saw a slow-moving, sad-faced old gentleman as he bounced off the hood of
my car.
In indirect cause of the accident was a little guy in a small car with a
big mouth.
I was thrown from the car as it left the road. I was later found in a
ditch by some stray dogs.
The telephone pole was approaching. I was attempting to swerve out of its
way when it struck my front end.

The Value Of Money
There are several men sitting around in the
locker room of a private club after a long workout.
Suddenly a cell phone on one of the benches
rings.
One of the men picks it up, and the answers

"OK, but for that price I want it with all the options."
"Great! But before we hang up, something else ... "
"What?"
"It might look like a lot, but I was reconciling your bank account and I
stopped by the real estate agent this morning and saw the house we had
looked at last year. It's on sale!! Remember? The one with a pool, English
Garden, acre of park area, beachfront property ... "
"How much are they asking?"
"Only $950,000 - a magnificent price ... and I see that we have that much
in the bank to cover ... "
"Well, OK, but just bid $920,000. OK?"
